Update – COVID-19
As you are aware, earlier today the government issued a statement regarding present status of Covid19. We have sought advice from the Industry body Ireland Active around clarification of ‘Social distancing – ie gatherings of 100 or more indoors’ as applied to Leisure centres, and are awaiting a response.
However, in light of the Government statement issued today we have taken a decision as follows
‘Given the fact that lessons in the facility typically accommodate participant numbers c.60+ children and their accompanying parent/guardian, the potential of having over 100 people gathered within close proximity is high, we have decided that in the greater interest, and to ensure that there is a reduced risk of community transmission, ALL Children’s Teaching CLASSES in the building will cease until March 29th with updates earlier or later as required’
Credit will be applied for classes missed to ALL customers in the next term of lessons.
Booking Window remains open to March 17th and all rebookings can be done online. If you have any issue with rebookings online please call the pool on 014901711 to rebook over the phone. Please rebook as normal by the 17th March to ensure you retain your place for the April – June term.
The facility shall remain OPEN for Public Swims, Masters, Aquafit, Adult Lessons & Ladies Lessons and dedicated groups subject to our normal facility opening hours and operating procedures regarding pool capacity (Max 75 for public swims).
All Standard Hygiene Guidelines should also be observed HERE.
The HSE Update regarding the use of swimming pools is available for review HERE.
